Yevhen Tymtschenko ( Ukrainian Євген Тимченко , Russian Евге́ний Тимченко / Yevgeny Timchenko; born May 24, 1996 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian ice hockey player who has been playing at HK Bilyj Bars Bila Zerkva in the Ukrainian ice hockey league since 2017 .

Career

Yevhen Tymchenko began his career with Molodaja Gwardija Donetsk, the youth team of HK Donbass Donetsk , in the Russian-dominated junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . He then worked for their league rivals Kristall Berdsk and the MHK Klin Sportivnyi from the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League B , which was located below . In 2015 he moved to HK Donbass Donetsk in the Ukrainian ice hockey league . In December of the same year, however, he moved to his hometown, where he stood on the ice for HK Generals Kiev . In November 2016, he moved to league rivals HK Krywbass , where he ended the season. He has been active for HK Bilyj Bars Bila Zerkwa since the beginning of the 2017/18 season .

International

In the junior division, Tymchenko played for Ukraine at the U18 World Cup in 2014 and the U20 World Cup in 2014 , 2015 and 2016 , when he was captain of the Ukrainian team, each in Division I.

With the men's selection , Tymchenko took part in the 2016 World Cup for the first time when the promotion from the B to the A group of Division I was successful.
