Jhon Pírez , full name Jhon Alexander Pírez Araújo , (born February 20, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.87-meter-tall offensive player Pírez played for Defensor Sporting since he was 10 and was a member of the club's various youth teams in the following years . In 2008 he signed a contract with Chelsea , which secured priority access in a transfer of Pírez. However, due to FIFA regulations, he was not allowed to play in England before his 18th birthday and therefore stayed with Defensor for the time being. He then traveled to England a total of four times and trained with the English for several months. He made his debut in the 2010/11 season on February 5, 2011 in the first division game Defensors against River Plate , completed a total of two games in the Primera División with the Montevideans in the 2011 Clausura and scored one goal. At the beginning of July 2011, he moved to Chelsea. He stayed with the club from London until the end of May 2012. Competitive matches are not performed for him during this period. He was then loaned to his former club Defensor and ran for the club in three games of the Copa Libertadores Sub-20s until early July 2012 . In doing so, he scored a hit. His team failed only in the final against the Argentine representative CA River Plate and thus took second place. In July 2012 it was awarded again by Chelsea. The new employer was the Spanish second division CD Leganés , for whom he played a total of 29 second division games in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons and scored three times in the opposing goal. After the loan deal ended in mid-2014, he finally joined Getafe FC a few weeks later in July 2014 . For the club's second team, he made 22 appearances (no goal) in Segunda B in the 2014/15 season . In August 2015 he returned to Defensor in Montevideo, where he played three games (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league in the 2015/16 season. For the 2018 season, he then moved to the USA to the Tulsa Roughnecks .
