Ji Xinpeng
Ji Xinpeng ( Chinese 吉新鹏 , born December 30, 1977 in Xiamen , according to other sources in Hunan ) is a former Chinese badminton player .
Career
Ji Xinpeng's big year was 2000. He had no significant successes either before or after. At the Olympic Games in Sydney he was under coach Tang Xianhu Olympic champion in the men's singles. He also won the Japan Open , came second at the Swiss Open and third at the All England . In the Thomas Cup he was runner-up with the Chinese team.
In 2008 he was again a participant in the Olympics as coach of the Chinese national team .
