Jamyang Könchog Jigme Wangpo ( Tib .: 'jam dbyangs dkon mchog' jigs med dbang po ; born 1728 ; died 1791 ) was the 2nd Jamyang Shepa from the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism .
He is the founder of the Amchog Ganden Chökhorling ( a mchog dga 'Idan chos' khor gling ) monastery in Gansu , a branch of Labrang .
He is the author of many works, including the General Overview of the Four Buddhist Schools ( grub mtha 'rin chen phreng ba'i tshig' grel thor bu ,) which explains the four main schools of Indian Buddhism , specifically Sarvastivada (the school of realism which asserts the reality of all phenomena, an early Hinayana school), Sautrantika (a major Hinayana school whose teaching is based only on the sub-area of the Sūtras ), the Dharmalaksana school (according to which all is mind in its ultimate nature) and the Madhyamika School or Middle School.
