Jill Marie Jones

Jill Marie Jones (* 4. January 1975 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Jones was a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for two years , and a year she appeared in a similar capacity for the Dallas Mavericks team . She studied at Texas Woman's University and worked as a model on the side . She then moved to Los Angeles and devoted herself to acting.

Jones made her debut in an episode of the 2000 television series City Guys . From 2000 to 2006, she played the role of Antoinette Marie Childs , best friend of Joan Carol Clayton ( Tracee Ellis Ross ) in the television series Girlfriends . For this role she was nominated for the BET Comedy Award in 2004; In 2006 she was nominated for the Image Award .

In the comedy Redrum (2007) Jones took on one of the leading roles. In the comedy The Perfect Holiday (2007) she starred on the side of Gabrielle Union , Morris Chestnut and Queen Latifah .

In 2002, the picture of Jones appeared on the cover of one of the issues of King magazine . In 2005 she appeared on the television show All Shades of Fine: 25 Hottest Women of the Past 25 Years .
