Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle Monique Union (born October 29, 1972 in Omaha , Nebraska ) is an American actress .
life and career
After graduating from high school, Gabrielle Union first studied law at the University of Nebraska . However, she moved for sporting reasons, she is a passionate football player , the university. Union came to the University of California through Cuesta College , where she graduated with a degree in sociology .
During this time, Gabrielle Union began modeling and made the leap into the television world. Union made her acting debut in a first-season episode of A Heavenly Family . Since then she has appeared in various series and films. She also has a small role in the Busta Rhymes video clip I Love My Chick , which is based on the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith .
In 2003 she received a "Rising Star Award" for best young actress at the American Black Film Festival .
Since 2013, Union starred in the BET series Being Mary Jane in the title role. The series ended in 2019. Since 2019 she has played a leading role alongside Jessica Alba in the crime series LA's Finest , in which the story of DEA agent Syd Burnett from Michael Bay's film Bad Boys II is continued.
Private
Union from 2001 to 2005 Chris Howard , a running back of the Jacksonville Jaguars , married. In December 2013, she got engaged to basketball player Dwyane Wade , whom she married on August 30, 2014.
