Divorced from music producer J-Jizzy, Nancy is a single mother of three children. Her daughter Emily learns that Nancy wants a man to say something nice to her.

Nancy takes her children to a mall before Christmas, where the family meets Santa Armstrong, a salesman who works as Santa Claus. Armstrong dreams of a career as a singer and songwriter. Emily gets Armstrong to compliment Nancy. The man leaves, but the children find him and bring him together with Nancy.

Reviews

John Anderson wrote in Variety magazine on December 7, 2007 that the film had a lot of vitality, but it was " old-fashioned " and " predictable ". The cast is good - except for Morris Chestnut, who seems to believe that he is not appearing in a romantic comedy but in a fashion catalog.
