Daddy's Little Girls is an American film drama by Tyler Perry from the year 2007 .

Auto mechanic Monty has been convicted of rape in his past. Monty lives in an unsafe area where a lot of criminal activity takes place.
Monty fights against his ex-wife Ella for custody of his three daughters. Ella has a new life companion who does illegal business.
Monty tries to have the children with the lawyer Julia and the two get closer.
Reviews
Peter Debruge wrote in the industry journal Variety that Tyler Perry's performance as a director was improving in each of his films; it is better than in his first major film project Diary of a Mad Black Woman . In the film characters appear who deviate from stereotypes, as well as " always the same drug dealers played by African American actors ".
Mark Olsen wrote in the Los Angeles Times on February 16, 2007 that Perry's works were not filled with " anger " but that they were intended to calm down. You would make things look good and hopeful regardless of the circumstances. The structure of the film is unconventional. Olsen criticized the " swingless " dialogues, although he praised the monologues heard in the film.
