Jim Edmonds (born June 27, 1970 in Fullerton , California ) is a retired American major league baseball player . He played as center fielder for the California Angels , the St. Louis Cardinals , the San Diego Padres and the Chicago Cubs . In his career in the Major League he was awarded the Gold Glove up to eight times for his playful achievements.

With the Cardinals, he was twice in the World Series (2004 lost to the Boston Red Sox 4-0 and 2006 won against the Detroit Tigers 4-1).
