Jim Grelle
Jim Grelle (actually James Edward Grelle; born September 30, 1936 in Portland ; † June 13, 2020 ) was a former American middle-distance runner .
He won silver over 1500 meters at the Pan American Games in Chicago in 1959 , finished eighth at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome and won the 1963 Pan American Games in São Paulo.
In 1960 he was US champion over 1500 meters, in 1965 and 1966 US indoor champion in the mile run and in 1966 Australian champion over 1500 meters. In 1959 he won the NCAA mile run for the University of Oregon .
