Joachim Beuckelaer

Joachim Beuckelaer (also Bueckelaer ) (* around 1530 in Antwerp ; † 1573 or 1574 there) was a Flemish painter .

He completed an apprenticeship with his uncle Pieter Aertsen . In his studio he created market scenes and kitchen items, combined with biblical scenes. In 1560 he became a member of the Antwerp Guild of St. Luke and settled as an independent artist.
