Joachim Phayao Manisap
Joachim Phayao Manisap ( Thai : ย อ อา กิ ม พ เยาว์ มณี ทรัพย์ , pronunciation: [ jɔːʔaːkim pʰájaw mániːsáp ]; * July 19, 1929 in Chanthaburi , central Thailand ; † November 3, 2007 ) was Bishop of the Diocese of Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand.
Life
Joachim Phayao Manisap attended the seminary in Si Racha in the Thai province of Chonburi and at the Urban College in Rome . He received on 23 November 1958, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
In 1977 Pope John Paul II appointed him bishop of the Nakhon Ratchasima diocese in Thailand . The episcopal ordination on 3 September 1977 received his Bishop Lawrence Thienchai Samanchit . Co -consecrators were Bishop Alain Sauveur Ferdinand van Gaver and Archbishop Michel Kien Samophithak .
On November 30, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request for health reasons.
