Joachim Preen
Joachim Preen (born July 13, 1940 in Braunschweig , † February 1984 in Konstanz ) was a German film and theater director .
Life
Preen began his theater career as an assistant to Peter Zadek . He discovered the actor Herbert Grönemeyer and brought him on stage for the first time for the play John, George, Paul, Ringo and Bert by William Martin Russell . Preen achieved nationwide fame for directing 23 episodes of the television series Ein Herz und eine Seele . In 1979 the 12-part television series Anna followed .
Preen also played smaller roles in his films, for example. B. in When will you marry my wife? (1978).
His first marriage to actress Brigitte Janner has a son, Zacharias Preen , also an actor.
