Joachim Widlak

Joachim Johannes Hermann Widlak (born March 30, 1930 in Breslau ; † October 21, 2011 ) was a German conductor .

Widlak received his musical training at the Musikhochschule Halle , where he attended Werner Gößling's conducting class .

From 1953 to 1959 he worked as a conductor in Magdeburg . From 1959 he was at the Landesbühnen Sachsen in Radebeul , first as first conductor, from 1966 to 1994 as chief conductor and musical director of the house. Widlak held the title of music director .
