Joan Jepkorir Aiyabei
Joan Jepkorir Aiyabei (born May 17, 1979 in Uasin Gishu District ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who has her greatest successes in cross and road running .
In 1996 she won the bronze medal in the junior women's race at the World Cross Country Championships . In 2001 she was third in the Route du Vin and triumphed in the Corrida Bulloise as in the following year .
In 2003 she was twelfth on the long distance at the World Cross Country Championships and won silver with the Kenyan team. A short time later she won the Giro Media Blenio .
In 2005 she won the Route du Vin. The following year she was third in the Cursa Bombers . In 2008 she triumphed at the Barcelona Half Marathon and in 2009 at the Bredase Singelloop and the Grand 10 Berlin . In 2010 a victory in the Kempten half marathon was followed by a second place in the half marathon competition of the Wachau marathon .
