Giro Media Blenio
The Giro Media Blenio is a street run for competitive athletes and popular runners and a walking / Nordic walking run in the village of Dongio , which belongs to the municipality of Acquarossa , and which has also been run through the neighboring villages of Ludiano , Semione ( Serravalle ) and Corzoneso Piano (Acquarossa) and since 1985 takes place. Since 1994 it has been running over a distance of 10 km (previously over 11 km). Walking and Nordic walking take place over 6, 12 and 17 km. The program also includes a 5 km run and a Mini Giro. The terrain is mostly flat. On the day of the event, well over a thousand people stay in the otherwise very quiet place.

The elite run (Grand Prix) takes place on a 1.25 km long circuit through the streets of Dongio.
The fun run (Giro) is held on a large round through Dongio and the neighboring municipality of Ludiano .
