Alena Močáriová

Alena Močáriová (born April 30, 1964 as Alena Kučeríková ) is a former Slovak long-distance runner .

Life

In 1989 she won the Grand Prix of Bern , 1991 the Giro Media Blenio , 1991 and 1992 the Corrida Bulloise and 1993 the Greifensee race . In 1994 she was third in the Greifensee run. At the World Half Marathon Championships in 1997 in Košice, she finished 72nd.

In 2000 she won the half marathon competition of the Baden Marathon . At the Dresden Marathon she won over 10 km in 2001 and 2002 and in the half marathon in 2003.

In 1987 she became Czechoslovakian indoor champion over 1500 m , in 1988 Czechoslovakian champion over 3000 m and 1990 over 10,000 m . She was Slovak champion four times over 5000 m (1995, 1998-2000) and once in cross country (1998). In the hall she won the national championship title over 3000 m in 2000 and 2001, in 2000 also over 1500 m . At the Cross Country World Championships in 1987 in Warsaw she came 111th and 1991 in Antwerp 90th.

Her twin sister Jana Kučeríková (married Bauckmannová), who was also successful as a long-distance runner , started for the Czech Republic in 1993.
