Jana Kučeríková

Jana Kučeríková (married Bauckmannová ; born April 30, 1964 ) is a former Czech middle and long distance runner .

Starting for Czechoslovakia , she was eliminated at the European Athletics Championships in 1986 in Stuttgart over 3000 m in the preliminary run. In 1990 she was eighth over 1500 m at the European Championships in Split and failed again in the preliminary round over 3000 m. At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 1991 , she did not get beyond the heats over both distances.

She was Czechoslovakian champion over 1500 m three times (1983, 1985, 1990) and five times over 3000 m (1986, 1987, 1989–1991), in 1996 and 1997 she was Czech champion over 5000 m . In 1987 she won the Czechoslovak title over 3000 m in the hall. In 1995 and 1997 she was the Czech indoor champion over 3000 m, in 1997 also over 1500 m.

She won five times at the Corrida Bulloise (1989, 1990, 1993-1995) and once at the Basler Stadtlauf (1990). In 2003 and 2004 she won the Dresden Marathon on the 10 km route.

Her twin sister Alena Močáriová , who was also successful as a long-distance runner , started for Slovakia in 1993.
