Joanne Zuger (born November 17, 2000 ) is a Swiss tennis player .

Career

Zuger started playing tennis at the age of six and her preferred playing surface is the hard court. She mainly plays in tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has so far won a tournament in singles and doubles.

She played her first professional tournament in March 2015 in Antalya . In 2018 she reached the round of 16 of an ITF tournament five times as well as the semi-finals at the $ 15,000 tournament in Cairo , where she won the title in doubles with Nika Radišić . At the ITF Women's Open Klosters 2019 , endowed with 25,000 US dollars , she reached the quarter-finals, where she lost to Julia Grabher 6-4 , 4-6 and 4-6.

Zuger made her debut on the WTA Tour when she received a wildcard to qualify for the Ladies Championship Lausanne . She failed in the first round to Jasmine Paolini with 6: 7 3 and 6: 7 4 .
