Joseph Gerard "Joe" Briski (born October 2, 1955 in Detroit , Michigan ) is a former American bobsleigh athlete .
Briski only started bobsleigh at the end of 1983 and was still a newcomer to the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . Nevertheless, he finished fifth in the four-man bobsleigh with his teammates Tom Barnes , Hal Hoye and Jeff Jost .
Briski lived in San Diego , California and ran a gym there.
