Joey Dale (actually: Joey Daleboudt; * July 1, 1993 ) is a Dutch EDM -DJ and music producer from Rotterdam . He is known for his publications on Bigroom -House under Revealed Recordings , with its label founder Hardwell he recorded a chart success.

Career

Joey Dale grew up listening to hip hop and rap music. When he was 14, he began making hip-hop beats in a demo version of FL Studio before devoting himself to house music. He mentions 50 Cent and Scott Scorch as his role models at the time . In 2011 he graduated from school with top marks, but did not pursue any further educational path in order to focus completely on music production. After sending demos to Revealed in late 2013, he was initially rejected by the A&R , but was contacted personally by Hardwell and later signed. He made his debut on Revealed with an EP consisting of Watcha Called Me and Shockwave .

The track Ready for Action , which was created together with Alvaro and released under Spinnin ' , marks his breakthrough. The song hit the charts in Flanders . At the RFM Somnii in Portugal, Joey Dale made his first big appearance playing in front of 15,000 people.

Hardwell picked up another revealed demo of him and the collaboration Arcadia was born . This was first performed by Hardwell at the Ultra Music Festival and appeared on his album United We Are . Arcadia was previously released on August 8, 2014 as a single under Revealed . The track corresponds to the big room genre and was able to take chart positions in France and Belgium. Another collaboration from 2014 together with DVBBS called Deja Vu was able to build on the success and has hits in the tens of millions on Youtube.

In the following years, Joey Dale played regularly at festivals and clubs around the world, especially on stages hosted by Revealed such as Tomorrowland or Ushuaïa Ibiza. According to his own statements, he worked as a ghost producer at the beginning of his career. Further publications were mostly made through Revealed, but also through Spinnin ', DOORN or Wall. He mixed 4 episodes of Revealed Radio (# 4, # 76, # 111, # 145).
