Johan Braunjohan
Johan Braunjohan , also Braun Johan (born July 28, 1589 in Osnabrück , † August 9, 1649 in Lübeck ) was a German lawyer and council secretary in Lübeck.
Life
Johan Braunjohan, son of a citizen of the same name in the city of Osnabrück, studied law at the universities in Helmstedt , Cologne and Rostock . In Rostock he is proven as a respondent and president of the university through publications (including occasional publications). From 1618 until his death in 1649 he was council secretary in Lübeck. In 1637 he was entrusted with the management of the Lübeck Upper Town Book and accordingly sworn in as a protonotary . Braunjohan was buried in the Katharinenkirche in Lübeck . The rector of the Katharineum in Lübeck Sebastian Meier gave him the funeral speech.
