Johan David Kristoffersson (actually Johan David Kristoffersen ; born December 6, 1988 in Arvika ) is a Swedish racing driver with Danish roots. In 2012 he won the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC), the Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup and the Superstars Series . He is the son of former racing driver Tommy Kristoffersson , who was successful as an Audi quattro and Audi Coupé S2 driver in the European Rallycross Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s before switching to the STCC.

Kristoffersson began his motorsport career in touring car racing in 2008 in JTCC Sweden . Starting for his father's racing team, Kristoffersson Motorsport , he won two races and was fourth in the drivers' championship. In 2009 he moved to the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC), where he also competed for Kristoffersson Motorsport. In an Audi A4 , Kristoffersson had no points in the championship. Five tenth places were his best results. In the series-internal Semcon Cup , in which only private drivers were eligible, he came second. In 2010 Kristoffersson was initially without a cockpit. For the last three events he competed for the Biogas.se team in a VW Scirocco in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. With a tenth place as the best result, he was 15th in the drivers' championship.

In 2011 Kristoffersson competed in the Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup . With 8 out of 15 wins he won the most races. Nevertheless, he was defeated in the championship Robin Rudholm and was second with 402 to 420 points. In addition, Kristoffersson took part in a race of the German Porsche Carrera Cup and the Porsche Carrera World Cup. Kristoffersson completed the appearances in the Porsche one-make cups for Kristoffersson Motorsport. In addition, Kristoffersson joined the newly established Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC) during the season . He again drove a VW Scirocco from Biogas.se. Kristoffersson got two third places for best results and finished tenth in the championship. He also took part in a race in the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring .

In 2012 Kristoffersson competed in three parallel racing series. In the STCC, he continuously drove a VW Scirocco from the Biogas team. At the season opener at Mantorp Park , he won both races. Another win at Mantorp Park and two wins at the season finale in Stockholm followed . In total, he finished eleven of sixteen races on the podium. With 264 to 258 points he prevailed against Rickard Rydell and became champion. In addition, Kristoffersson won the Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup for Kristoffersson Motorsport. He won eight out of ten races there. Kristoffersson was also an Audi works driver in the Superstars Series , an Italian touring car championship. He drove an Audi RS5 used by Kristoffersson Motorsport . He won both races in Imola and Vallelunga . Kristoffersson prevailed with 185 to 181 points against Vitantonio Liuzzi and won the international ranking, which included all races of the season. In addition, he was also the winner of the Italian classification, which only included the Italian races. At the beginning of 2012, Kristoffersson also completed DTM test drives for Audi.
