Career
Johan Rosén began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth of the IFK Arboga IK , for whose first team he was active in the third division 2 from 1985 to 1988 . Then the attacker moved to Mariestad BoIS HC in the second-class Division 1 , for which he was on the ice in the 1988/89 season. He then ran for four years for his league rivals Mora IK before playing for Luleå HF in the Elitserien from 1993 to 1997 , with which he became Swedish champions in the 1995/96 season . In the following season he moved again with Luleå in the final of the Swedish Championship, in which he and his team were defeated by Färjestad BK .
He then moved to EV Landshut in the DEL . After they sold their DEL license in 1999, the Swede joined the newly founded Munich Barons , with whom he became German champions in the 1999/2000 season , with Rosén contributing to this success with eight goals as the top scorer in the playoffs. In the following year he moved again with the Barons in the final of the German championship, in which he and his team were defeated by the DEL record champions Adler Mannheim . When the Munich Barons were relocated to Hamburg in 2002 , Rosén and his compatriot Hans Lodin returned to Sweden to Leksands IF , for which the right-shooter played until 2005. After a break of over a year, Rosén ran again in the 2006/07 season in a game for his home club IFK Arboga IK, which had since been promoted to the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan .
