The IFK Arboga IK is a Swedish ice hockey club from Arboga . The team plays in hockey and plays its home games in the Sparbanken Arena .

history

For a long time IFK Arboga IK took part in Division 1 , which was still second class at the time . When this was replaced by HockeyAllsvenskan in 1999 , the club initially also took part in this. In this, the team was also able to establish itself before relegating to Division 1, which is now third class, in the 2006/07 season. After the main round, the team occupied the penultimate place, but then voluntarily waived their participation in the relegation. Since then, the team has played continuously in the third tier of the league, which is now called hockeyettan .
