history

The club was created in 1973 through the merger of the ice hockey clubs Rosersberg and Arlanda . During the first two decades, the club therefore played as the RA-73 based on the two merged clubs. In 1992 the name was changed to Arlanda Wings HC, in 2008 the name was changed to Wings HC Arlanda. This was chosen based on the nearby Stockholm / Arlanda Airport .

During the 1990s, the Wings men's team took part several times in Division 1 , which was then still second class . Since the turn of the millennium, the team has initially established itself in the now third-class Division 1, but was relegated to fourth-class Division 2 in 2018 .
