The Halmstad HF (also known as Halmstad Hockey ) is a 2006 founded Swedish ice hockey club from Halmstad . The team plays in hockeyettan .

history

Halmstad HF was founded in 2006 as the successor to Halmstad Hammers , which had gone bankrupt a year earlier . The team achieved promotion to third-class Division 1 in the 2008/09 season . In the following years, the team was able to establish itself in the league that is now called Hockeyettan .
