The Piteå HC is established in 1986 Swedish ice hockey club from Piteå . The team plays in the third class hockeyettan .

history

The association was founded in 1986. It was created through the merger of the ice hockey departments of Piteå IF , Munksunds S / SK and Öjeby IF. The team already took in its premiere season at the then second-rate Division 1 part. The club last took part in the new second division, HockeyAllsvenskan , in the 2004/05 season . Since then he has been playing in the third-class hockeyettan and failed several times only in relegation to rise again.
