Jaroslav "Jaro" Buchal (born April 23, 1974 in Chomutov ) is a former Czech ice hockey player .
Career
Jaroslav Buchal began his career in his hometown at VTJ Chomutov , for whom he was on the ice for the first time in the 2nd division in the 1991/92 season . He played for his hometown club until 1995 before moving to HC Chemopetrol Litvínov . There he was used in both the Extraliga and the European Hockey League . In 1997 he moved to Becherovka Karlovy Vary before playing for a year in various leagues in Finland, including Tappara in the SM-liiga , and in Sweden.
In 1999 he came to Germany for EHC Wolfsburg , for which he scored 108 points in 51 league games. The following season he moved within the league to the Dresdner Eislöwen before returning to HC Chemopetrol Litvínov in 2001. In the 2002/03 season he went to the ice hockey regional league for the ESC Moskitos Essen and not only won the league championship with the Moskitos, but also rose to the top division. In the following years he played for clubs in the second-rate first division such as HC Olomouc , KLH Chomutov and SK Kadaň , before returning to the Eislöwen for 15 games at the end of the 2005/06 season . Since then he has played for clubs in the 1st and 2nd league in the Czech Republic - since summer 2008 he was under contract with HC Klášterec nad Ohří . In winter 2010 he replaced Neal Musselwhite, who left home for professional reasons, as the second contingent player at Lippe Hockey Hamm in the Oberliga West. In February 2011, his contract in Hamm was terminated.
