On the occasion of the 19th Universal Postal Congress , which took place from June 18 to July 27, 1984 in Hamburg (Federal Republic of Germany), the German Society for Postal and Telecommunication History published a special issue of the Archive for German Postal History for the delegates of the congress and the almost 60,000 members of your own club. The contributions written in German were also printed in short versions in French and English, the foreword by Federal Post Minister Christian Schwarz-Schilling also in: Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
