Johann Anton de Klyher was a German court and theater painter in the 18th century, as well as an engraver and art critic .:
Life
In 1722 Johann Anton de Klyher worked for the "Elector, Archbishop and passionate art collector Lothar Franz von Schönborn ". In his newly built Weissenstein Castle in Pommersfelden , de Klyther examined the gallery that was not open to everyone and wrote about it:
"... all of Germany, France, Rome with Kurtzem just to say, has carried their best treasure to Pommers-Feld."
In 1727 de Klyher drew and engraved views from Hanover . Later, the “High Princely Court Painter and Chamber of Art” de Klyher was involved in furnishing the Belvedere Palace in Weimar from 1729 to 1731 .
