Johann Baptist Martinelli

Johann Baptist Martinelli (* February 1701 in Vienna ; † June 21, 1754 ibid) was an Austrian builder and architect .

Life

His father, Francesco Martinelli from Morcote, worked as an architect in Vienna. Johann Baptist Martinelli accepted several architectural commissions, many as an employee of his brother Anton Erhard Martinelli . He participated in the construction of the Großweikersdorfer parish church , the Greek Catholic cathedral of Blaj and the church in Dunaalmás . Johann Baptist Martinelli also worked on several castles ; the most important of these is the castle of Count Anton I Brunswick in Dolná Krupá .
