Johann Blaschke ( Hungarian János Blaschke ; born December 20, 1770 in Preßburg , † November 4, 1833 in Vienna ) was an Austrian engraver .

As a toddler he came to Vienna with his father, where he studied from 1787 at the art academy with Jacob Matthias Schmutzer and with the court engraver Clemens Kohl . He worked primarily as an illustrator for almanac and paperback literature. His figures are cumbersome, and he often repeated his multi-figure compositions schematically.
