Mario Benusiglio (born August 27, 1950 - February 4, 2014 ) was an Italian racing car driver .

Racing career

Mario Benusiglio was active in GT , sports and touring car racing for four decades . He started his career in Formula 3 , where he competed in both the Italian and European championships in the late 1970s .

For many years he competed in races in the Italian GT Championship , where he achieved a total of 16 class wins. His greatest international success was the third place overall in the World Sportscar Championship in 1982 counted 1,000-km race at Monza . Teammates in the Osella PA7 were Gabriele Ciuti and Giuseppe Piazzi .
