Johann Busch (entrepreneur)

Johann Busch (born March 14, 1890 in Chur ; † December 15, 1969 there , reformed , resident in Chur) was a Swiss entrepreneur .

Life

Johann Busch was born on March 14, 1890 in Chur as the son of the machine embroiderer Christian Busch and Elisabeth, born in Klosters , from Hitz. After completing an apprenticeship as a locksmith in Chur, Busch completed further training in Munich .

Johann Busch then took over a locksmith's workshop in Chur in 1919, before founding the Busch high-speed weighing factory in 1926, which he led to growth and success with new models. For this purpose, a training workshop was added in 1959. In 1965 he finally handed over the management of "Busch-Werke AG" to his sons.

In addition, Johann Busch was represented in the Chur city parliament from 1935 to 1940 as a member of the Free Democratic Party .

Johann Busch married Anna, née Lang, who was born in Munich in 1918. He died on December 15, 1969, three months before he was 80 years old in Chur.
