Johann C. Lindenberg

Johann C. Lindenberg (* 1946 in Mecklenburg ) was with Unilever for 33 years , from 1998 to 2005 as head of Germany and headed the brand association . Lindenberg lives with his wife in Hamburg.

Career

Lindenberg studied economics . and joined Unilever in 1972 as a management trainee . He was there for 33 years. In 1996 he joined the management of Langnese-Iglo and was chairman of the management of Unilever Deutschland GmbH and Unilever Bestfoods Germany from 1998 to 2005 .

He was a member of the board of the Federal Association of the German Food Industry and President of the Markenverband .

He sits on six supervisory boards , including at Gruner + Jahr , Praktiker , Elbphilharmonie Hamburg Bau GmbH & Co. KG , Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH and Esso Germany .

Since 2007 he has been a member of the Hamburg University Council . He is chairman of the Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein State Board of Trustees of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft .
