Johann Flegel

Johann Flegel (born June 3, 1898 in Hanover ; † March 13, 1961 in Grossenheidorn ) was a German politician ( SRP ) and briefly a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Flegel attended the Hanover Citizens' School from 1904 to 1912 . On April 7, 1922 he graduated as head locksmith. On May 1, 1933, he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 2,954,854). From 1934 to 1945 he was a member of the DAF , where he held the office of deputy chairman. From 1935 to 1945 he was in the Nazi Reich Warrior League . From 1934 to 1940 he belonged to the German Christian Movement. From 1933 to 1945 he was a member of the Reich Colonial Association and the Reich Air Protection Association . He was also a member of the DRK .

By order of the military government of February 14, 1948, Flegel was denazified in category III , which meant that he was excluded from all managerial or supervisory public and private positions or activities in which employees report to him.

Flegel joined the SRP. In the 2nd electoral period he was briefly from September 10 to October 23, 1952 as a member of the parliamentary group of Abgg. Dr. Schrieber and comrades member of the Lower Saxony state parliament and from October 1 to 23, 1952 a member of the committee for social affairs. He replaced the MP Wolf Graf von Westarp , who had resigned from his seat. Shortly afterwards, the SRP dissolved itself on September 12, 1952, awaiting a ban by the Federal Constitutional Court (BVerfG). As part of the SRP ban, Flegel lost his mandate according to the judgment of the Federal Constitutional Court of October 23, 1952.
