Johann Friedrich Endersch (born October 25, 1705 in Dörnfeld an der Heide , Thuringia, † March 28, 1769 ) was an imperial cartographer .

Life

Endersch lived in Elbing and in 1755 drew up a map of Warmia (Latin Warmia ) with a dedication for Prince-Bishop Adam Stanislaus Grabowski . The title of the map is Tabula Geographica Episcopatu Warmiensem In Prussia Exhibens . On this map all cities and places of the Prussian duchy of Warmia are listed. Eastern Prussia is called Borussiae Orientalis . The card was made for the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire .

Endersch also made an engraving of a Galiot , which was built in his hometown of Elbing in 1738. The ship was named D. Stadt Elbing .
