Johann Friedrich Junge (master builder)

Johann Friedrich Jungs (* 1686 ; † 1767 ) was an electoral Brunswick Lüneburg court architect in Hanover .

Life

Johann Friedrich Junge was employed as a chamber pedel in Hanover in 1712.

In 1717 he was appointed building clerk and in 1723 promoted to building clerk . In 1739 he was appointed master builder.

Junge worked as court architect in Hanover from 1739 until his retirement in 1758 for health reasons.

His achievements as an architect include the construction of the Monbrillant Castle .
