Johann Gottfried Dietze

Johann Gottfried Dietze (born July 28, 1823 in Barby ; † May 25, 1888 in Neuhausen near Munich) was a German manor owner and politician.

Life

The son of the Saxon Chamber of Commerce councilor Johann Gottfried Dietze († 1830) attended the Carolinum Bernburg high school . He studied at the Royal Saxon Forest Academy in Tharandt and the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1847 he took over the management and administration of the Pomßen manor , inherited from his father , to which he subsequently made major structural improvements. As a deputy member of the manor owners of the Leipziger Kreis , he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament from 1857 to 1866 . From 1878 to 1884 he represented the 13th Saxon constituency (Leipzig Land) in the German Reichstag . He was a guest of the German Reich Party .
