Baron Johann Gottfried Ignaz Wolfskeel von Reichenberg zu Rottenbauer (* May 26, 1693 ; † April 15, 1779 ) was Würzburg canon , and the President of the Court Chamber and War Councilor of the High Princely Würzburg.

Life

Baron Johann Gottfried Ignaz Wolfskeel von Reichenberg zu Rottenbauer had been Domicellar of the Würzburg Cathedral Chapter since June 27, 1702 and was ordained a subdeacon on March 27, 1723 . A member of the Würzburg Cathedral Chapter since November 16, 1724 , he was appointed by the Prince-Bishop to one of the two Presidents of the Secular Government only one month later (December 25, 1724). In 1728 the presidency of the consistory and the ecclesiastical government was added.

On May 31, 1756 he was elected provost of the Neumünster collegiate monastery and on April 1, 1757, provost of the Haug collegiate monastery. In 1758 Baron Johann Gottfried Ignaz Wolfskeel was appointed President of the Court Chamber and the Court War Council.

He died on April 15, 1779 as senior of the cathedral chapter.
