Johann Gottlieb Berlinicke

Johann Gottlieb Berlinicke (born December 5, 1805 in Tempelhof , Teltow district , † February 4, 1880 in Tempelhof , Teltow district) was a German farm owner and community leader ( local politician ).

Live and act

Johann Gottlieb Berlinicke was the church and school director and from 1859 to 1864 honorary community leader of the Tempelhof rural community and has made great contributions to the development of the community, which at that time belonged to the Teltow district .

With their 5 Hufen farm at Dorfstrasse 25 (today: Alt-Tempelhof 14-16), the Berlinickes were one of the wealthiest and most respected families in the village of Tempelhof.

His son-in-law was the Tempelhof official builder Paul Opitz (1849-1904), who built the art-historically remarkable tomb of the Berlinicke family in the churchyard of the Tempelhof village church .

Named after him

On December 15, 1892, Berlinickeplatz was named in his honor.
