Johann Heinrich Wohlien (* 1779 in Hamburg , † 1842 in Altona ; also Johann Hinrich , also Wohlin and Wollin ) was an organ builder from Altona .

He was a member of the well-known family of organ builders, Wohlien . Johann Heinrich Wohlien was born as the son of the organ builder Balthasar Wohlien (* 1745 in Wilster, † 1804 in Hamburg), the son-in-law of Johann Paul Geycke . His only brother was the piano and organ builder Lorenz Rudolph Wohlien , with whom he formed the second generation of the family business.

Johann Heinrich Wohlien moved the workshop to Altona. At times he worked with his uncle Joachim Wilhelm Geycke . After 1804 the workshop was separated and Wohlien merged with Johann Carl Eduard Erdland. With the grandson Johann Friedrich Eduard Wohlien (1843–1871), son of Johann Conrad Rudolph Wohlien , the company closed down.
