Johann Joseph Heinrich Bauer von Adelsbach
Johann Joseph Heinrich Bauer von Adelsbach (born May 3, 1719 in Würzburg , † February 27, 1802 in Prague ) was a German physician and professor of medicine in Prague .
Life
Johann Joseph Heinrich Bauer studied medicine at the Universities of Strasbourg and Freiburg. In 1751, Bauer received his doctorate in Altdorf . He then worked as a doctor at the Prague Military Hospital, in 1778 as a city physician and later as a professor of medicine and finally as dean and in 1790 as a senior in the medical faculty at the University of Prague.
On December 12, 1753, Johann Joseph Heinrich Bauer was given the academic surname Glauco III. accepted as a member ( matriculation number 583 ) in the Leopoldina .
In 1793 Johann Joseph Heinrich Bauer was ennobled as a nobleman by Bauer and Adelsbach.
