Johann Menrad von Vorwaldtner

Johann Menrad von Vorwaldtner (* 1651 in Ingolstadt ; † October 9, 1724 in Munich ) was a German doctor, professor of medicine in Ingolstadt and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Johann Menrad von Vorwaldtner was a medical respondent in Ingolstadt in 1668. He then first became a physician, garrison doctor and professor of medicine in Ingolstadt. He then became personal physician to Count Palatine Philipp Wilhelm (1615–1690). He later became a Bavarian and Palatinate council and personal physician.

On June 30, 1696, Johann Menrad von Vorwaldtner with the nickname Polybius I was accepted as a member ( registration number 222 ) in the Sacri Romani Imperii Academia Caesareo-Leopoldina Naturae Curiosorum .
