Johann Nikolaus Scheuer

Johann Nikolaus Scheuer (born July 7, 1950 in Elz ) is a German judge .

Life

Scheuer graduated from the Fürst-Johann-Ludwig-Schule in Hadamar in 1969 and completed military service until 1971. In the same year he began studying law at the University of Giessen . He passed his first state examination in law in 1976 in Frankfurt am Main . After completing his legal preparatory service in the regional court district of Gießen, he passed the second state examination in Wiesbaden in 1979 . In 1982 he was appointed judge for life at the Frankfurt am Main district court . There he was a member of the Presidium from 1985 to 1992. In 1990 and 1991 he was a lecturer for civil law at the Rotenburg University of Applied Sciences in Fulda and from 1993 he was also the examiner for the second state examination in law.

Scheuer was appointed judge at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main in 1994 and also worked from 1994 to 2001 through a partial delegation at the Regional Court of Erfurt . From 1998 to 2002 he also held the position of a professional judge at the Hessian Lawyers' Court and in 2001 and 2002 he was also a member of the presidium of the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court. In 2002 he was delegated to the Hessian Ministry of Justice .

Scouring with effect from September 1, 2005 President of the District Court of Giessen and November 1, 2007 President of the District Court of Frankfurt am Main before December 1, 2015 the retirement occurred. His successor is Wilhelm Wolf . In addition, Scheuer was a deputy member from 2000 to 2002 and again from 2006 to 2010 and a judicial member of the State Court of Hesse from 2010 to 2015 .
