Johann Pötsch

Johann Pötsch (born March 24, 1894 in Irdning , Styria , † April 4, 1968 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Johann Pötsch, the district in Irdning Raumberg was born, went to visit the elementary and secondary school an agricultural college. After working briefly as a gendarme in the communities of Gröbming and Sankt Gallen from 1918 to 1920 , he took over his parents' farm as a farmer in 1920 .

In 1934 he moved to the Federal Economic Council as well as the State Chamber of Farmers, a forerunner of today's Chamber of Agriculture , of which Pötsch was a member until the annexation of Austria in 1938.

In December 1945 Pötsch was sworn in as a member of the ÖVP to the National Council in Vienna . Pötsch then worked as a parliamentarian until June 1953. Immediately thereafter, he moved to the Federal Council . Johann Pötsch was a member of the second Austrian parliamentary chamber from June 1953 to June 1956.
