Johanna Werner-Muggendorfer
Johanna Werner-Muggendorfer (born June 22, 1950 in Neustadt an der Donau ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1991 to 2018 she was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
Life
Johanna Werner-Muggendorfer attended the Neustadt elementary school until 1964 and then the secondary school in Abensberg until 1968. She then completed training as a librarian . She worked in this profession until 1972. In 1973 she began a second training as a teacher at the specialist academy for social pedagogy. From 1977 to 1991 she was employed by the city of Regensburg and most recently as director of a day care center. She is widowed and has a son. In addition to her political involvement, she is also active in the education and science trade union , the Federal Nature Conservation Union and the State Federation for Bird Protection and is chairwoman of the Neustadt fruit and gardening association.

Johanna Werner-Muggendorfer joined the SPD Bavaria in 1972 . She is the chairwoman of her party in the Kelheim subdistrict and was district chairwoman in the SPD district of Lower Bavaria from January 2009 to February 2011 . She has been a city councilor in Neustadt since 1978 and has been a district councilor since 1984.
In 1991 she was elected to the Bavarian State Parliament for the first time . From 1998 to 2011 she was a member of the council of elders of the state parliament and deputy parliamentary group leader of her party. Since 2011 she was deputy chairwoman of the petitions committee of the Bavarian state parliament. She was re-elected to the state parliament in the 2013 state election via the Lower Bavaria district list. In her direct voting group 203 Kelheim she took second place with 18.0% of the first votes. In the state elections in Bavaria in 2018 , she no longer stood and left parliament.
