Johanna von Wild
Johanna von Wild is the pseudonym of the German writer Biggi Rist (born October 20, 1964 in Reutlingen ).
Life
Biggi Rist wrote his own stories at the age of seven, one of which has been published. After primary school she attended the Albert Einstein High School in Reutlingen and began an apprenticeship as a pharmacy assistant after graduating from school. She then moved to Isny / Allgäu to train as a pharmaceutical-technical assistant at the Natural Science and Technology Academy . For many years she worked in laboratory diagnostics and research. From 1993 to 1995 she lived in Melbourne / Australia , after her return she lived near Tübingen for ten years and was employed in the Enders laboratory in Stuttgart , where she carried out serological and molecular biological tests until she was solely responsible for interpreting the results.
In 2005 she moved to Lower Saxony , where she now lives in Lilienthal with her husband. After moving, she trained as an equine physiotherapist at the German Institute for Horse Osteopathy (DIPO) in Dülmen and worked as a freelance until 2012. In 2010 the collaboration with the crime writer Liliane Skalecki began under her maiden name from which seven crime novels have emerged. In addition, she published five short stories in various anthologies, a contribution to the syndicate dossier of the Criminale in Marburg, and a 100-line novel in the Weser-Kurier . She now writes alone and has changed genre: The first historical novel was published in February 2019. The author is a member of the Homer Historische Literatur e. V., at the Bremen Literature Office and the Syndicate.
