Criminals
The Criminale is the annual big crime festival of the syndicate , a group of authors of German-language crime literature. Readings, discussions, book signing sessions, workshops and a lot more with over 200 authors will be held at the multi-day event. Visitors to the Criminale have the opportunity to experience well-known writers and newcomers to the crime genre, who present their works in over 60 individual events, up close. The Criminale takes place in changing locations or regions (crime scenes) .
The highlight of the Criminale is the award of the Friedrich Glauser Prize in several categories and the Hansjörg Martin Prize for the best children's or youth crime story. All award winners including details of the selection process can be found in the article on the Friedrich Glauser Prize.
